Welcome to Aaliyah Makoni Handmade! My name is Aaliyah Makoni, and I am the founder and designer behind this brand. I am a self-taught designer with a background in organizational studies from the University of Cape Town.

With the support of my family, I decided to pursue my passion for creating and designing by starting my brand. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and the creative process in general. I am inspired by color and love to incorporate bold, vibrant colors into my designs.

I am also heavily influenced by African designs and patterns, but I wanted to create my unique take on them. That's why I decided to create my line of prints and textiles for this brand. At Aaliyah Makoni Handmade, we are all about bold prints and vibrant colors. Our collections are full of colorful and fun pieces.
